Ultimate Cheesy Carbonara


  • 2 tbsp Veg oil
  • 1/4 Onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 30g Plain flour
  • 600ml Plant milk
  • 1.5 tbsp Bacon nooch
  • 3/4 Black salt (kala namak)
  • Freshly ground cracked black pepper


Heat the oil gently then add the garlic and onion powder to release the flavours. Add in the flour to form a paste.

Add the milk 100ml at a time and whisk/stir well so you don't get any lumps in the mixture. Once you've reached a nice thick mix, add all the other ingredients.

Congratulations. This is the base sauce for your carbonara.

Fry off vegan bacon & then add your sauce and some cooked spaghetti to complete your dish. Top with parmesan & parsley. Dolce vita!
